Ok, I have a 290 gig hard drive on Vista. the memory has slowly been decreasing over the past two years. At the moment it has gone down to 20 gig. Yet I only have around 50 gig of stuff on it; But I recently defraged it and ending up with 20gig from 60gig.
Is there a way to get my memory back?
I've just used some software call auslogics defrag and managed to get 90gig, but I still have a lot unaccounted for.

Re: Hard Drive Memory Problem
Done that, regained a bit of memory.
But now my memory has gone down about 9 gig on its own, I've looked it up on the net and it seems that many have this problem with vista.

Re: Hard Drive Memory Problem
No it's not vista generally it's something that you don't know about. Do you have fraps and stuff? Maybe you have recorded videos or something that are eating all this Space on your HDD.
