two questions regarding expanded.txt

Does anyone know what the '%S' is doing in the data/text/expanded.txt file at the Current heir and Current leader title entries?


Does anyone know how to get a title (of heir/leader) appear BEHIND the subject's name?

The two symbols are the placeholder for the (first) name. Logic would dictate that by changing it's position you change the position of the name.

I am not aware that past leaders had a title. If they do then it should work the same way or even be linked to the present leader entry in expanded.txt

No title = logic again says that removing it form the entry should work. If you remove the complete entry you will get a placeholder message.

How to have heirs keep their surname? EDIT: doh. Have their surname as title and hope the main line lives...

Having

[Title-former] %S [Title-latter]

works aswell (and looks really cool too!)!



Does the %S thingey work for epithet-traits aswell?

I have not tried if this 'tag' works in the other files. But I have seen some entries relating to money where a similar one is used.
But the epitaph gets added to the end of the name already (very handy to create custom surnames).
