Lag in NTW vanila and Tron2 mod

hi u all

ivegot lag in single player battle in ntw and tron2 - all graphic settings r on low .... (btw emt + mods works uber)
while in mele contact or lots of formations fire lag is there . imho as low as 1fps ( wel not so bat but u get the picture....)
strange enough in "max fast forward" no problem what so ever !!!
just this sooo slow fps in normal speed
got this 1st in vanila ntw
same now in tron2....

all driver up to date

my pc:
xp sp 3
mb asus p6t se
cpu intel i7
gpu radeon hd 6950
3 gb ram corsaire 1333 (or something)
hd wd 500
net framework 3,5 and 4 and 1,1 and 2 and so on , all from win update

what shall i do ?
im a really napoleon fan since before i was born , and is such a pity that a game of one of the most fascinating perioud of warfare history is in my grasp but not not being able to play it...

Have you tried MadBoris' Workaround stickied in the Empire Tech forum?
Have you tried Radeon Pro for your graphics card?
Have you uninstalled AMD/ATI HDMI ound drivers in Device Manager?
Have you tried uninstalling your sound drivers?

Radeon Pro? if is a new gpu card ,well my current ati rad hd 6950 let my finances quite dry last month...
AMD/ATI HDMI driver r now disabled
ive got just the realtek driver now

conclusion:
its a weebit better... but when by the end of battle when all r engaged in mele or gun fire, there it is again...
btw: that little window up center we get as in "ur general is under attack" then u click on it and camera jumps at that specific spot, well then is terrible like im waching a foto slideshow

Google for Radeon Pro. It's free.
The 11.1a patch was supposed to be the fix for 6000 cards.
RealTek have proven to cause crashes, too. Update them at www.realtek.com.tw or www.guru3d.com.

got the radpro but ntw failed to start "error etc" patching it, and realteck right now.
btw this should be a real issue for ATI that as it seams, lots of us players bought the game and expensive !!! gpus, and r spending our and others time on net instead of enjoing or games!
so i send a nasty message to ATI with quotes of all the problems i red for the past 2! hours. well see....

cool thx just did that so: shall i buy a nvidia card , lol, couse this ati fubar hd 6950 eate 340 euros already..........grrrr

perhaps upgrading my os to windows 7 might be the solution, till then back on emt...

-installing catalyst 11.1 instead of 11.2 ! -wich came on CD with my video card - solved the problem, no lag in ntw vanila and almost none in ntw with mods,

could be better tho....
