Mordheim Unspecified Error

Hello everyone,

Playing as the Vampire Counts, it didn't take me long to capture Mordheim by defeating a garrison sortie. However, at the end of the AI turns on the turn that I took the city, I got an Unspecified Error CTD. It repeated itself after every time I was about to begin my turn (4 tries by this point)

I know that capturing Mordheim had something to do with it, as I lifted the siege of Mordheim on my last experiment, and I was able to start up my next turn without an Unspecified Error CTD. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Seems to be you are missing files. You should post in the official bug thread, in the format specified. The CoW team might have run across this already and could point you to next step or fix.

Thanks for the tip. How should I correct it? Should I re-install the version that I have (1.4.4 English, downloaded via torrent) or should I use a different version?

Not sure all the various patches that you have. Let's assume that you don't have the 1.4.4 cumulative that includes everything (about 15 gigs maybe). So your version of 1.4.4 might be the cumulative patch (from 1.4.1 to 1.4.4) - check to make sure what version of 1.4.4 you have. Here is the order I would do it:

If your 1.4.4 is not cumulative

1.4 + 1.4 music + 1.4.1 + 1.4.2 + 1.4.3 + 1.4.4 + English Translation.

If your 1.4.4 is cumulative then

1.4 + music + 1.4.4 + English Translation

Then follow precisely all instructions on the 1.4.4 important info thread (main page in COW forum). That will prevent a ton of CTDs.
