Default Settlement title questions (e.g., Strategos of Athens)

A couple questions about settlement title retinues.

    1) Is a title granted if no one has the title and a general occupies its settlement?

    2) Can a general currently owning a settlement title gain another one simply by moving to the settlement, or can a second one only be granted by manually moving the retinue?

    3) Does the title give a bonus to tax collection in any settlement or only in the settlement the title belongs to? (e.g., owner of Exarch of Constantinople [+15% tax bonus] currently governs Athens)

    4) Does the tax bonus affect settlement collection or the title holders personal wealth?

I'm a new SS 6.4 player, thanks in advance. Love the mod!

    I think so.

He can only gain one, but you can transfer more.

The bonuses apply to all settlements.

If you're a new player, you shouldn't be using BGR.

Yes, I often recruit generals to leave them as governors when I don't have enough family members

No, since the 6.3 version I think

Yes it works on any settlement, you can see that by moving your general in and out of the city and seeing how the income changes

Is there a reason not to adopt generals when asked ?

Just for sentimental reasons, keeping your family tree small and making sure that the heirs are always direct descendants of the original king or stuff like that

Also, be aware that transferring too many titles can cause your general to gain a severe negative trait that will remove almost all of his loyalty. That happened in my Roman campaign where my conquering general now seethes for revenge with his 0 loyalty

Doesnt leave room for family members that can be born. IE Heirs to the king wont be born if you adopt too many people.

    You don't get bloodline traits.
