    Default Fog of war

Isn't it kind of unrealalistic how far your armies can see on the map? It seems to me that they can see longer then they should. Not to mention spies. How does one spy be able to see longer than an army. Unless he finds a very tall mountain and has a pair of binoculars and looks around. Would there be anyway to change how far the armies actually see?

    Default maybe?

the answer is that a spy isn't one man but has a small network of helpers ,in the same way an army has scouts

then again maybe they do have binoculars or at least telescopes, hmmm maybe sat-nav
