Just installed RTR VII and cant get it to work...says this:
script error in FOE/DATA/WORLD/MAPS/CAMPAIGN/BARBARIAN/INVASION/DESCR_STRAT.TEX, LINE 12, COLUMN 1.
EXPECTED START DATE OF CAMPAIGN OR BATTLE
Can anyone help me??????

Looks like he forgot the space there. Did you go into the file at all? Try using Eleanya's txt file.
If you just installed it and didnt go into the file at all, may I ask if you fully updated everything before installing RTR VII: FOE.
Did you install the game to the correct folder? Should be under Creative Assembly/Rome Total War.

No. That did not help. It said the same thing when I installed v 1.9
I am using windows 7 if that helps at all.
Actually thats rather critical.
Is it installed in the 32bit folder?

Well there is the normal program files, and then the x86 one.
I think you need to install RTW in the normal one (not the x86 program files), from there install the mod.
You can keep your campaigns in vanilla by simply copying them to desktop, and then placing them back in the saves folder after![]()
