Rogue Priests and Sovereign Heretics?
Taking a look at the thread for recruitable princesses who don't belong to the royal family got me thinking--is there any way at all in this game that random, Rebel (but not heretical) priests could be made to occasionally spawn in the map?
And is there any way to modify the recruitment to allow the creation of "False" heretics, who would more or less be agents sent out for the simple purpose of spreading heresy and deceit and causing damage on the behalf of a sovreign government (albeit clandestinely)?
What about hiring witches? Surely, not every witch out there was some crazy rogue. Every now and then there might be a monarch desperate enough to try to curse one of his foes...
This idea might be null--after all, I don't know for sure, but are heretics and witches technically the de facto priests of Rebels as their random, rebel-possessed nature would suggest? Or is there some way to recruit them (or one of them thereof) for use by a normal faction?

I don't know about Rebel non-Heretic priests, but I heard in this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=427927
that the mod mentioned in that link has recruitable witches, or something.

That's very interesting if that's true. I'm not good enough at modding this game to want to risk screwing something up while digging through the coding, but if that's indeed true, I'd love to see how it could be implemented as a submod for SS.
