error loading mount database in rtw

if i start rome i get a error called: error loading mount database. and after that i dont get any other errors if i clik on ok. but the game ends. i have a mod for barbarian invasion called invasio barbarorvm II and i dont have any problems with that mod.

Hi there.
Is the game modded? In that case you screwed something up. Reinstall, having removed all files from both the mod and RTW from your hdd. If not, are you trying to load trough steam? A disc version? If it is, remove it from steam again.
Otherwise, reinstall, after having made sure you removed EVERYTHING RTW related from your computer.

Do you have any disc emulation software on that system? Do you have Nero installed by chance?
