    Default Bad timing.

    I had the Civil War, the problem I think though is that my faction leader died on the same turn as it happened. In the National announcements it showed that he got given the "Dictator" trait but he's dead lol.
    My new faction leader has not gained the trait and the new heir has just got the normal heir trait so I'm guessing I'll have to have a 2nd Civil War when I have my territories back . Any clarification on this?

    Edit: Lots of answers I see . Thankfully when I had conquered back up to 80 territories my faction leader became the Emperor and the Heir became Caesar so it was fine.

    i got the same problem when i killed off my fraction leader thinking my heir would get dictator
