Billmen (or infantry) in Wedge formation?
I have searched for this topic but can't find it, which is perhaps more to do with my own ineptitude.
In trying to recreate vaguely accurate, late 15th-century warfare I have been attempting to have it so billmen to deploy in a wedge (allowing a serrated line with mutiple units). So far, I been able to get the button to appear, but cannot get the unit to actually alter its formation.
Is this even possible? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Any help is really appreacited.

I wish I could say its possible. But unfortunately its not. Believe me this would be so useful to my mod as well, but its not. Damn those hardcoded limits eh!

what news about the testudo??
I had heard its possible to change a bit the animation..etc.
Personally, I think the phalanx animation is really too much static and artificial...
You can test it to have less "static" phalanx, but isn't perfect.

Thanks very much. Trying the shield_wall might be worth a try, I just need to get back to my own PC where my work is so I can try it
