- How are unit stats balanced, set ? Just because I met an RTW mod in which unit stats (attack, defense, etc) ranged from 10 to 70, thus made experience gaining and armor upgrade superfluous! I hope SS keeps experience and unit upgrade worthy.

Units are about as balanced as they can get. Every stat are from Point Blanks excellent mod "Real Recruitment / Real Combat" where every single stat are carefully calculated from Real life data such as Draw Strength, Kinetic Energy transferred, and so on. You should go read his Sub-mod forum for more detail.

Realism, and a very very active sub-mod community, allowing you to customize your experience as you'd prefer it. And most of all; fun!

Most important - SS community is very much active and releasing updates very often. It is easier to play and eliminate bugs if you have someone to answer your questions, isn't it?

it offers some new factions to play with! the units are very well balanced, an amazing designed campaign map (best i ever seen) .. without america but with expanded east! you can choose between different ai settings and to play with rr on or off! and many many other features...

The battles are amazing. A stack vs. stack (let alone with allies too) is an epic encounter that will absolutely amaze you, seeing all those new units with their ridiculousness awesome skins that have been redone and redone.

It's worth trying the mod and see for yourself if you like it. Some of the added stuff is good, other parts I personally don't like - while the mod is better than the game as it comes out of the box, I mostly play SS because I haven't found any better mods yet.

It´s highly configurable - You can have an easy and fast game with some options or a challenging, very historical and perhaps more complicated game with some other options. Not to mention all the submods to add, change or adjust this and that.

While I agree that SS is a good mod, I think people praise it a bit excessively, simply because the outset, the game as delivered by CA, fails in so many ways.

Okay. First play vanilla, then play SS. Check out ALL the new regions, units, settlements, traits, stats, abilities, skins, geography, turns, buildings, and everything else that is awesome of it. Then the answer will pop into your mind and it will be "damn, SS is cool ).

Better graphics, better map, better realism, better unit rosters, better AI interaction, better diplomacy, and better playability and battles. If your not Ukainian then your no damn...uhhh, what I mean is, if you dont like Stainless Steel then IDK what to tell ya, but it blows the regular version away. I really havent tried other mods so maybe Imma bit prejudiced. I downloaded Baltic Crusade but couldnt install it. Im waiting for the SS6.4 version of it. Anyway give it a go, SS is whats up!

Because even 6.1 makes the vanilla version seem like crap. 6.4 or RR/RC is even better, but I still play 6.1 because it runs faster on my computer. It's just an all-around great mod. Even 6.1 .
