unknow crash, & blankl menu

ok, so from what i understand i installed the mod correctly, but when i play the game the menu is blank, theirs just some empty unlabeled buttons on the start menu. when i clicked the one that should be the one for a new campaign, and then the one that would let me pick my faction, the game crashes. an error box pops up that just says medevil ii on it.

im playing steam version with English translation. ive been wanting to play the mod for a while.
how do i fix this?

Have you installed the translation? The vanilla mod is in russian, I fixed the empty buttons thing by simply installing the english translation by Grand Admiral Thrawn (thanks again for that thing).

Don't worry, the translation works for all language versions.

i believe the version i downloaded includes the English translation. i daubt that is the solution.
unless i miss understanding how to install. their seems to be a n english lang file in the directory of the mod.

I think you have to go to your data\text folder and delete the files with ".bin". Not 100% sure, so back up your files.
