The wierdest thing happened to me just now...

Let me go back a couple of hours. I was playing as Poland in SS 6.1. In that version, I have three saves that I have been playing - the turks, the french, and just recently, the polish. Then, I took a break to get some dinner, do school work, and all that type of stuff. While this was going on, I had SS 6.4 reinstalling (in order to test a new submod). Of course, I also did everything that accompanied reinstalling 6.4 (turning back off my UAC, installing the downloaded files to temporary locations so that I could install them, etc.)

Just now, I decided to play a little bit more in my polish save, so I start the game... and am surprised that the Polish save file is beneath the turk save file and the autosave file in my list of save games. I start up my polish game, and all of the sudden, I am like 30 turns behind where I had been just hours before.

My heart then quickens... did I save my polish game over my turk save? I load that game, and to my relief (and surprise), it is in fact my turkish game. Why would that save be on the top of my save list when I havn't played it for a couple of days now?

I check out the minimap and my heart skips a beat (again). The other day, I posted a rather length post in the "whats happening in your campaign?" thread about how I had decided to attack the fatamid superpower (who had like 12 stacks hanging around antioch). Fortunately, after several hours of stack-spamming play, I was able to beat down those stacks and I had the Fatamids on the run (I had conquered down to Damascus and had an army poised to take damascus and acre when I saved the game). Anyway... I did this like 3 days ago, over the course of many sessions of loading and saving.

So what did I see just now when I loaded my game just now? Well, antioch belonged to the Fatamids... as did the rest of the holy lands. All 12 of their stacks were clustered around the city.

I'll go ahead and fast forward to my discovery. When I checked out my list of saves, I noticed that the most recent save was from FEBRUARY 14th! In short, over the past couple of hours, I somehow lost all of my save data after the 14th of february.

So... has this ever been reported before and is there some way I can recover my saves?
