for whatever reason NTW is only using about 15% of my CPU on average. how do i get more? any tricks and tips?

More power you say?
Start the task manager, click on processes, select NTW.EXE, set priority to above normal.
Don't try high or real time else the I/O devices will lag.
(Real Time is a no no)

Example below, CPU @ 30% (rough guess) and GPU @ 99% (Flat out)

One Custom reg, unzip and merge the file. right click - Merge
(still leaves firewire enabled and other security programs)
should give you a little extra power to games.
to go back to a semi bloated o/s, just do a system restore.

the reg file
it removes any unwanted service you don't need, and sets up most of services to manual.
default win7 over 60 processes.
this 48ish on bootup.
Better go, the mrs needs some attention
