Kindgoms problem

Hey there haven't been in the forums in a while. I have a sort of weird problem. When I play m2 I have no problems or lag in either campaign or battles with the highest settings on, but when I install the kingdoms expansion it lags quite a bit in battles. It also autodetects that my settings should be the lowest even though it does not recommend that playing vanilla m2. Any thoughts or help?

I have a dual-core e2200 pentium processor, 4 gb of ram and more than 100gb of disck memory.

You don't say what you have for a graphics card/chip and how much vram.

My own experience with both, going from Medieval2 to Kingdoms, you can add add 25% to 50% to Medieval2's printed specs, and that includes grahics.

I'd say this is the reason why.
