Default How to “load the campaign script”

I am new to your mod, I just installed it but I do not know how to “load the campaign script” in order to play the game for the first time. Some help, please.

Just start a new game (imperial campaign, best turn the advisor help off), then click on one of your cities. The advisor will pop up, click on him, press the show me how button ==> The background script is loaded. Now everytime the advisor pops up it has some cool thingy to announce dealing with the background script.
Now everytime you start a new game or load a game you'll have to click on a city and activate the background script.

Problem is that I cannot reach that point in staring the game. After I click on my desktop shortcut, opening screen (Map with Europa Barbarorum title, with some Latin sentence under by) shows up with this error window on it:

“Script Error in data/descr_event_images.txt, at line 623, column1.
    Unknown event string faction_defeated_by_player”

When I click OK on this error window, game crashes back to Windows.

Ah, ok, then. You probably need to reinstall RTW and manually install the 1.2 patch.

Thanks, but I do not have luck or my 1.2 is corrupted somehow. I reinstalled, manually copied all 1.2 files, even downloaded mss32 file from you link, but it still crashes back to the Windows.

I'll assume that you didn't know that talking about cracks and etc. are a big no no here at TWC so I won't bother with an official caution. - Trajan
