Send me your MP replays & I'll commentate and post your battles

I haven't played too much NTW MP myself and don't really have the time as I'm a full-time student, dad and business owner. I do however enjoy doing battle commentaries and post them to my well-established YouTube page. Most of the battles currently there are ones I fought against the computer, but I'd really like to get some multiplayer battles posted for variety and I think people mostly want to view these.

Ihave some epic battles you could commentate on. Just tell me what you are looking for, 1v1's 2v2's 3v3's, tarrian maps, close battles, ect. thanks and gl

Cool. I'd say 1v1 or 2v2. Anything above 2v2 gets a bit tough to commentate as there is too much going on. Close battles are always good and ones that are just plain exciting to watch are great.

I personally like battles that use varied terrain to advantage - Grassy Flatlands balanced battles are a bit boring IMO. I love studying advanced strategy and I think others enjoy watching too so any battle that demonstrate sound tactics, and battle-changing maneuvers would be great...use your best judgment.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get the replays from you.

Hey shiloh I have a replay that you can do unfortunatly its a 3v3 but literally comes down to the wire . Its in Tylers perspective since I dropped close to the end ( I am in the middle our random ally is at the end and he faces a random I face MGL Tranyslvania and Tyler faces Yellow AG) only replay I have cause for some reason filefront doesnt like me anymore .

Thanks Fuzzy...I'll check it out. I don't have an aversion to 3v3 they're just tougher to commentate.

I just commentated and made this video live to the general public a few minutes ago. It was an epic battle right down to the wire as you said and you really can't tell who will win until the last 30 seconds.

It was a bit tough to commentate as there was much ground to cover but I tried to stay on the most exciting action when I could. The battle is over 27:00 but if you want to fast forward to about 4-5 minutes in that's where the action starts. I like to review each army so the viewer can see the selected units but that always takes a few minutes especially with the 6 armies.

Nice action on this battle, many tactical withdrawals and good strategy if you study the battle. I'd like to do a ton more of these so if you have some good battles, send them along.

It is the most recent battle uploaded on my page so give it a look when you have a few minutes. I do suggest you watch it at 1080p for the best battle experience.

Thank you wow didnt realize that it as that many soldiers going on at once unfortunatly I crashed but to much awesomness was going on for my computer to handle it lol. Yea I know what you mean on how its hard to keep track of everything I had to stop and rewind to switch army was who.

this is a good idea. commentating on matches you aren't involved in, where u act like a professional (professional commentators are always complimentary of the participants) in matches that are either public to begin with (tournament) or where both sides consent to having their match posted publically, is really cool. if one side doesnt consent, u can leave them anonymous.

In CWB we were considering getting neutral commentators to review matches in much the same way for shogun. as an aside I'm also for ranking teams and possibly seeding, maybe with a qualifying round. but anyway, yeah good idea best of luck.

Yea, if I buy S2tw i'll send you some of my replays for sure if you ask. I like watching my own games from other people's opinions on what I did wrong.

Thanks for the feedback guys - this is just what I had in mind. I really enjoy playing these games as well but you guys are the pros at MP so I'll leave that to you and do my best to commentate in an impartial, professional way. There is a lot to be learned by myself and others by watching these battles from a game standpoint, and historically as well. I am looking forward to some Shogun 2 battles so when you have them, please forward them on.

Thanks for the battle Underworld. I've been a bit caught up with the S2TW craze and I'm moving next week so I'm behind on checking back on this thread. I'll take a look at these battles and I'm looking forward to doing some musket battles as a change of pace to Shogun.
