Culture
since I'm playing this game for a while now, I've thought somehow much about the culture-issues:
FIRST: culture itself
the differentiation between the evil and the good:
on the one side we have different good factions (as there are elves, dunedain, men of north, dvarves)
on the other side we have simply the fellowers of melkor.
maybe it's superfluous because if there where different bad cultures, the crusade would'nt work,
but for me I think (if possible) it would be better to split the bad factions into the fellowers of melkor (orc-factions) and men of the south - for I don't know any evidence that the men really followed melkor. I think, they just allied with sauron because of enmity with gondor not really worshipped the evil itself.
SECOND: hobbit-culture
A)
an independent hobbit-faction would be nice I think.
perhaps it shouldn't even be playable.
For Eriador it would be a vassal or an ally from start on and for reuniting as arnor the hobbit-faction must survive in its borders or sth like that
or perhaps arnor mustn't be restored as independent kingdom, but gondor or eriador will become the compleete reunited kingdom after defeating mordor.
B)
I've read sth about a family tree with more families in it
I think it's one of the mods here in the forum where I read, that the holy roman empire strats with (think it were) three families - bavaria, saxony, and some other...
what about making sth similar for the eriador-family-tree?
I mean that you have two "families" - on the one hand the dunedain-generals and on the other hobbit-generals, so that as eriador one would have sam, pippin, merry, frodo, perhaps bilbo.
perhaps let frodo start with the one ring - and bringing frodo to mount doom makes you win the game and kill the pope aka sauron
yes I now, that it's not lore-correct, but I would preffer it like this.

M2TW is limited to how many religions can exist in the game, which is what the cultures are, and there's room for one more in TATW. There's been quite a bit of discussion to what this should be; one popular submod makes it an Isengard culture.
As for bringing Frodo to mount doom, that's the Fellowship campaign. Check it out, it's very well made.

A Hobbit Faction wont Fit at least for me. And if they gonna split evil then not into men of the south but East. Agree with the Reunited Kingdom Through would be nice but if your capital is bree and you have cities in gondor expect heavy unrest......
