Peninuslar Campaign-Worth getting?

Bought Napoleon for a fiver last week, so far impressed by the experience, fighting with EIC mod, having a lot of fun although only managed a few hours.

Is the Peninuslar War extra any good? More of the same, radically different, a challenge? ANyone's thoughts on how it plays and the fun or otherwise you'd had with it would be gratefully recieved.

I have played it a little, I wouldn't buy it now. It's the same game just smaller.

I have it but hadn't enough time to play it. Once I do,I'll let you know. But I think it's worth the money cause there isn't many factions to play anyway in Vanilla.

It's fun, more fun than the warpath campaign. and you can play 3 factions (4 in MPcampaign). the anti/pro french sentiment that you will have to turn around is also a nice feature, much more lively then just the religion in Napoleon

I enjoyed it and as said above the french sentient that you have to work on is interesting. You should buy it

I enjoyed it as well ... most add on campaigns for MTW2 & ETW I got little fun out of them but this one was an exception it is a lot of fun ... and bring some new elements into the game. Buy it!

Yeah this is a really good DLC. It also adds Guerilla (Excuse my spelling) units to the mix. You also get them in the regular campaign as well I think.

I like it. It is a nice change of phase from the main campaign, and it has more challenging feautures, more units and a better timescale than the other two "part-campaigns.
