-renamed files for campatibility with Gershom Patmos's releases, old 4.1.2 should now be 4.1.1b
-lowered attack for thrown spears (Javelins, Pilae, Plumbatariae), I think GP overpowered these weapons, w/c gave them tremendous advantages over Cavalry (I returned to stock javelins but slightly increased Plae and Plumbatariae)
-balanced other factions (major imbalance in Celts)

added the ff fixes for 4.1.2:
-changed mounts of armoured camel riders, Clibinarii (Sassanid), equites catafractarii (WRE,WRR,ERE,ERR), and hippo toxotai (ERE,ERR) to armoured horse
-changed primary weapon of equites clibinarii (ERE,ERR) from bow and arrow to javelins
Atilla Reloaded's Invasio Barbarorum:Flagellum Dei is one of the most highly anticipated, and rightly so, Mods for Rome Total War: Barbarian Invasion(RTW:BI)
However, I have noticed several inconsistencies with the export_desc_buildings and the export_desc_unit files.
I also feel that AR's original unit costs were prohibitive and made playing the Romans almost impossible.
This .rar file contains two versions: (1)RGyG IBFD fix and (2)RGyG IBFD edit PLUS (3) a working 4tpy script (originally by Sounds Like Killing)
RGyG IBFD fix:
- Enabled WRE and WRR to recruit ALL Romano_British units (reason, they are shown as recruitable in desc_buildings) also the great skins are wasted if u could never see them.
- Enabled WRE,WRR,ERE,ERR to recruit Comitatenses Prima Cohortis (reason, the skins are there)
- Balanced Unit Costs (especially upkeep costs) there is still a slight prejudice vs. Romans but not too much
RGyG IBFD edit:
- Enabled WRE and WRR to recruit ALL Romano_British units (reason, they are shown as recruitable in desc_buildings) also the great skins are wasted if u could never see them.
- Enabled WRE, WRR to recruit Comitatenses Prima Cohortis (reason, the skins are there)
- Replaced Comitatenses Prima Cohortis with the new Comitatenses Armatus for ERE, ERR(they share the same skin) Comitatenses Armatus doesn't need Sughdian resource anymore
- Balanced Unit Costs (especially upkeep costs) there is still a slight prejudice vs. Romans but not too much
- Enabled the training of Limitanei earlier for WRE, WRR (from militia barracks) and enabled recruiting of Limitanei up to highest level barracks
- Enabled training of Foederati Noble Swords up to highest level barracks
- Introduced a tiered recruiting time, low level units and auxiliae get 0 turn recruitment, heavy inf gets 2 turns and the elite inf get 3-4 turns (reason: 0 turn has its merits but I find it preposterous that u can recruit "highly trained" units in just one go. u'll find ur elite units more precious and won't be using them recklessly, works best with 4tpy script)
- Cavalry also gets longer recruiting time except for light cav and auxiliae.
- Boats (Triremes, Quinquremes) also get longer recruiting time
- Disabled legionary name for Pedites Romanii (Roman Infantry - recruitable by WRR, WRR, RB and Franks)
To add:
copy the "bi" folder to your "...\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War" folder. If you use the 4tpy script be sure to press F1 or open the faction summary window after a load game
