Majorly disappointed!

I was working toward Steam achievements and half way through my Austria campaign (who I hate to play as), I learn that you don't get the achievement for completing the campaign as them. So, what's the point as playing as them? Seriously?

Well depending on how good you (and your internet connection) are, maybe wanna play a MP europe (or other) campaign? Just to say i'm not that good, i only played the europe campaign in easy (to be able to conquer it all), and just got the silver dromedary legion achievement.

or if other people of my level are intrested, also good with me

Sure, CarradiceFrench is my Steam account name. I usually play on hard, but we can always have a go!

i'm at university for the moment, but when i look around on the Steam community i only find JCarradiceFrench, and he hasn't been online in 2 months. and since you need to be online to get achievements, i don't think it's you

oh idk, maybe some people find it fun to play as them and aren't just motivated by fictional achievements.

Did you buy the game for the Steam achievements or did you buy the game to play it? Seriously, do achievements matter? If you care about it that much just make a screenshot of you winning the campaign and upload it

how do you know this? it doesnt say you need to play as france on the achievement screen.

He wanted the imperial double eagle, which says "win europe campaign as austria", but you can't play a singleplayer europe (only a coalition campaign)campaign as austria, only a MP Europe campaign.

same for the imperial crown on brocade band: win europe campaign in hard. so it has to be france. From the view of achievements, coalition campaigns are a bit redundant

none of the achievements mention 'campaign of the coalition' so maybe it just assumes 'win europe as austria' is for the coalition campaign. how could it possibly be for the europe campaign when the only france are playable.

anyone won the coalition campaign as anyone except france? is it possible to mod the europe campaign to allow other contries to be played in order to unlock these achievements?

They do not mention campaigns of the coalition but they explicity mention europe campaign.

Like said, it are MP campaigns. Just like the achievement "win the egyptian campaign as ottomans" is only possible in MP. same goes for austria/prussia/russia/GB. they are only playable in a europe campaign, in MP. why do you think so few people have the achievement. win Europe campaign in easy has 5.8%, win europe campaign as russia has 0.1%, go do the maths
