Rome Will not launch

I did a clean install of Rome two days ago. I have had no problems until now. When I press the shortcut button, or do an auto launch, the title card shows up, but then crashes back to the desktop. I can't get to the main menu or anything, because it is not letting me actually load the game.

close firefox explorer or whatever browser you have and other programs and try again

Yes I exactly the problem I keep getting its as if it keeps becoming corrupt.....
Try reinstalling it worked for me.
Im blaming the issue on windows 7 it never did this in all the years iv had this game on any other os

EDIT: dont listen to me listen to goro posted nearly at the same time lol

Any reason why browsers affect the game?

Fixed it. Ran as an administrator and it works again.
