Constant Crashes + unable to load saved games

I've been experiencing crashes from time to time with no extra information about the problem than windows 7 telling me the game experienced an error and had to close.
Also having trouble loading some saved games, when I try to load them windows says the same thing as the previous error.

Don't know what other info I can give you to help me fix this, so go ahead and tell me if you need anything else.

Your problems have to do probably with your files. Do you have the latest patch? If you have an original copy let Steam check your files and fix them if necessary. Also delete all your save games (keep backup if you want to keep some). I use win 7 x 64 bit. If problems continue you have no other choice than clean install of the game. If you do that after un-install go in your games and check if there are left over files and delete manually everything (un-install deletes only vanilla files).
