    Default Campaign map, forced movement skipping

    I have been waiting for the newest RR/RC to swap over to 2.0, but recently gave in and went to give it a try.

    Since I changed to it however, my units on the campaign map now automatically skip the movement animations as if I had clicked or pressed space while they moved. This is really annoying because it means that you can not cancel any moves you make and they run immediately to where I click.

    I had a look through the different options and the .cfg file but found no way to turn this off. Does anyone know what is going on and how I set it back to normal, where you click and they start walking and will only speed up if you click again?

    I dunno.

    Make a back-up of the saved files, then reinstall it.

    ive you go to your user profiles, back up ur savegame and just unistal the game, and than dont install it over Medieval 2 kingdoms again.. that is a problem i use to got mutch..

    have you tested if you have that problem on kingdoms (no mod)?

    There's an option to skip campaign map movement in the campaign start screen. Could you have checked that box accidentally? I don't know if there's an option to turn that off again when you're in the campaign.

    Yes it is happening in Kingdoms now too. I am also on a new sytem now, which has windows 7 instead of xp, so this may have something to do with it.

    And no the the option when you start a campaign is to follow ai movement. My problem is that when I move units on the campaign map, they speed up and run to the place immediately, cancelling the walk animation, as if I had pressed space. Thanks though.
