Actually 320 gb is fine. Im not sure if the 64Mb cache will increase gaming performance. I dont know much about hardware.

That CPU and Mobo aren't compatible. May I suggest:

CPU (Changed from an 840 to a 955)

    Mobo

    GPU

    PSU

    RAM

    Case

    HDD

    Optical drive doesn't really matter.

Based on his limited and extremely different choices (GTX470 is outdated, 320gb vs 1,500gb is extreme) I assumed he was buying a prebuilt or custom. But what system builder would miss a mobo/CPU compatibility?

Is the cache in HD important for games? Sorry to ask, Im kind of a newbie when it comes to hardware (and software as well )

My bad guys. I was browsing the website of a nearby store and I just picked some items but I missed the socket compatibility. What about this mobo, do you guys resommend it?
    MB S1156 Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 - Rev 2.0 - Box

I have another question. I have a genuine windows 7 home premium 64 bits OS. Can I use the same windows in my new computer or will I have to buy another one?

Cache doesn't matter that much, but the overall design does. Both of your chosen drives are less than optimal performers, and the WD Green especially should not under any circumstance be an OS hard drive.

Is there any reason you want an Intel i3 chip? The Phenom II I proposed will blow the i3 560 out of the water.
