I need some Upgrade advices

My desktop is getting old and i'm thinking on make a upgrade (not too expensive).

for this i'm just going to buy new cpu and graphic card:

current (socket 775):

E6750 2.66ghz
GTS 250 1gb

considering:

Q8300 2.5ghz
GTX460 OC 1024MB GDDR5 or ENGTX460 DIRECTCU 1024MB GDDR5 (dont really know what is the difference..)


games i usualy or will play :

etw,ntw (shogun 2 when released)

cod: mw/mw2 ......

will this upgrade boost my performance?

The difference between the cards is a factory overclock on the first and a different cooling system on the second.

I'd say you are wasting money by doing this upgrade, you are better off getting a whole new system. If you do this upgrade, than you will regret it.

ENGTX460 DIRECTCU 1024MB GDDR5
Corsair 4gb ddr3 1333mhz
windows 7 64bits
Extra cooling fan (installed on backside of the desktop)

original desktop (comparing with same...)

e6750 2.66ghz
GTS 250 1gb
mobo lga 775 by foxconn
kingston 4 gb ddr2 800mhz
windows vista 32 bits


i guess this was a reasonable good upgrade. at least runs shogun 2 demo all in ultra without lag
