Steam gold edition install(platinum)

I already posted this in the platinum section, but I noticed if I put it here it would more likely be noticed, as this seems to be the busiest section.

I recently bought rome total war gold edition through steam. Rome is patched up to 1.5, and BI is up to 1.6. Ive read through some things, and installing this seems like it has so many ways I could screw up not only the mod but my original game.

So, can anyone link me to a step by step guide to doing this? Im a computer noob, so I won't be able to understand anything complicated lol.

BTW, im talking about platinum version of RTR

10) How can I play RTR with Steam?

1. Run the FoE installer like normal, changing the install path to xxxx/steam/steamapps/common/rome total war gold
2. Ignore the launcher and short-cut prompts, they won't work
3. Open Steam, right-click on Rome: Total War Gold in the My Games menu
4. Select Properties
5. Under the General tab select Set launch options ...
6. Type in -mod:FOE -show_err -nm without quotations and click OK
7. Launch Rome: Total War Gold by double-clicking it in the My Games menu
8. Select Barbarian Invasion from the two-choice list and Launch.
