System crash at campaign map

I'm trying to solve this problem for 3 days now, after all possible tries I gave up and decided to ask you for help.

I was playing Rome TW last week, without any crashes or similar problems. My friend told me about Roma Surrectum mod, which I installed and first time met this problem: computer reboots instantly after campaing map is loaded. I tried to change all possible video settings but nothing could help.
I thought that the problem is in Roma Surrectum mod and decided to install Medieval II TW because i played it before for a long time and I miss it much.
I've installed Medieval II, patched it to 1.2, after that patched it to 1.3. Haven't installed Kingdoms tho.
And then same problem like in Roma Surrectum, immediately after campaing loads, it shows me the map for exactly 1 second and then system crashes. I tried to change video settings again, tried to play in windowed mode, installed latest drivers for video card...even installed new fresh Windows this morning and still this problem. I just don't understand how was it possible to play Medieval II TW half an year ago on same computer, with same components and same patch?

PC:
Procesor: AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (1,92 GHz)
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 3450 (512 MB)
Memory: 2 GB Ram
Mainboard: Gigabyte 7VT600-RZ

I know that this is an outdated computer, but I wouldn't ask for help if I didn't play Medieval II before without those problems. So I'm really beging for some help. Thank you in advance.

It can play Medieval2 and Rome good. Are your discs clean and scratch-free?

I've highlighted two points above for a reason. You say that R:TW reboots instantly but described your problem with M2 as a crash. These are two different problems as you can see. I think you've just made a mistake in describing your problem but it would help us if you clarify the problem.

Now you say you did a clean OS install - did you format the drive beforehand? What OS are you running?

You say you're running the same system as half a year ago - have you cleaned it out in that time (checked the insides for dust bunnies)?

Sorry for using 2 different words for same issue. So, in both Rome TW Roma Surrectum and Medieval 2 TW, immediately after campaing map loads (i see map for 1 second) computer RESTARTS (no error message, no blue screen of death,...) it's like when I push the ON button to start computer. But I played Rome TW Vannila without any crash/restart/error last week.

I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 3, DirectX 9.0c. OS was same like last time I played Medieval 2 TW (around half a year ago), it restarted my computer.
This morning I installed again Windows XP SP3 and again same problem. I check the inside of my computer very often to clean all dust. I'm pretty sure my computer is not overheating, checked it with some programs, temperature for processor/system is usually at average (CPU at 54-56°C...System at 32-33°C).
Ofcourse that I formated my drive before instaling new OS.
I have latest VGA drivers, tried to uninstall them, clean drivers with DriverCleaner and install old drivers that I got with my graphic card, still sam problem with game, so I've installed again newest drivers for VGA.

I still think that it's a problem with my graphic card. I'll try to borrow other graphic card from my friend tomorrow to see if something changes but it's weird that I can play other games like World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion without any graphic issue.

The graphics on Roma Surrectum alone are more intense than vanilla. RTW and M2TW vanilla graphics have proven more intense than World of Warcraft.

Let us know about the card. Also check your voltages to make sure the psu is not going out under load.
