Hi all,
I tried to take photos of some of my drawings but my low quality camera provides greyed version of my drawings. Is there anyway to make them clear with gimp ?
Any help would greatly appriciated.

No i don't think so, the quality depends upon the number of pixels that your camera can capture.![]()
Thanks for quick answer Ishan.I tried few operations and this is best result so far. :/

Well, I've had a go using my not-particularly advanced Gimping skills and got this...
The first problem is that your photo becomes more out of focus (and hence blurred) towards the top right. To fix this properly you might want to take another photo from directly above the centre of the picture and perhaps from further away.
Anyway, in Gimp I made the top-right a bit darker to match the rest of the picture. To do this I created a gradient layer, going from white in the bottom left to black in the top right, then found a layer mode and opacity that gave me an even amount of light/dark across the picture.
Then I merged the two layers, increased the contrast a bit and ran Filters|Enhance|Sharpen (about 60% I think).
I'm sure there are other methods... you could probably do something with Colours|Curves or Colours|Threshold.
Hope this helps.
Yes one could do some enhancements something like this but like i said it's the capturing device that matters in the quality:-
