question about revolutions

Im using the Napoleon Total Faction mod that lets you play as any available in the game and Im having an issue with revolutions in the game. When I make a revolution using some of these factions it doesnt give me the option to side with anyone the rebel army just splits away and comes to attack. Is this supposed to happen or is it just the mod?

Hmm....

I haven't played Napoleon Total Factions (I just do the easy but often kinda annoying startpos edit to unlock factions). However, I would imagine that smaller nations just don't have that built in.

Strange, though. In E:TW I have had a revolution to form a republic while playing as Plains Nations...oh, how funniness ensued.
