Hard to say. Knowing paradox it'll be just like Hoi2, but thing is I'm not sure which one is better between hoi2 and 3.

Well I was a bigger fan of HOI II than III and as this game adds the Great War then I think I will be buying it.

Yeh Gamesgate actually have the game, and the "ok" to start sales, but I think its something to do with "timing the release" so it doesn't coincide with other things. So April the 5th it is

I just played it. It was uhh.. decent I guess if you're still into the old HOI games. Not my cup of tea personally, even though it has russia and austria-hungary in it.

Like I said, it's good if you're into the old Hearts of Iron games. After playing HoI3 I just can't have fun while playing them anymore. WW1 campaign seems really well-done actually. There's a lot of interesting decisions regarding Italy, and hell even the currency of your nation(at least in my austria-hungary campaign. played for like a year). Time is short, you have only 6 years if I remember correctly and then it's game over. It's very fast also which is really cool. 1 day = 1 IRL second. Not much else to say. It's one of those mods that turned into actual games. Like iron cross for hoi2 or arsenal of democracy.

You only download it from Gamersgate. Once it's installed it functions like any other game you installed from a disc. And you can download the game as many times as you like.
