Great vid uniting the whole army in the center was a good idea after seeing the vid i did the same and I used the united force to push the second wave against the river which gave some nice results http://www.sendspace.com/file/bd8vzv . I generaly think the game looks great and teh gameplay is not bad either.

Very Hard= AI bonuses and penalties for your troops or does the AI actually increase in brainpower?

I like overpowered stats for the AI. The AI will NEVER be as smart as a human so when I can beat hords of overpowered AI units then it prepares me for online where people are used to fighting a retarded AI on normal :p

imo the AI needs to have some sort of advantage over the human to make it challenging.

well dont get me wrong im no programmer but when a game has options like guard mode and all these pre set formations and the AI just group in a ball and goes into melee with the gen unit at the front of the ball is kinda dumb. and like in ETW and NTW when you have art firing into a hill - i could never figure out why they AI couldnt work out it was doing something dumb and move.

i for one would be happy if the AI just selected a good area and camped in a good formation. But then again maybe CA realised that the game would never end against most players who just sit there and do nothing. So maybe the dumb AI was the only way they could make sure batlles didnt last forever.

The AI is remarkably unintelligent usually, and thats in most games. Strategy games particularly so because so many different routes can be taken by both AI and the player.

well i not at all supprised - i really think multi brings out the best strategies and if you have a look at the talent of most of the guys you and i play with and against. its a good indication how we can adapt what we know that works well into new TW games. Its going to be interesting to see how many of the old clan start back up playing but with your experience and skill - im sure you will do really well.

I tell what was funny though about that video - someone commented that i play too defensive and played like a noob.

Hmmm after all the games ive played - i kinda thought i was fairly aggressive.

Not to mention - i play my first etw in 12 months last night and a game on syrian a guy called me a noob camper and quit half way through. when the game started i sent all my cav to my ally who was being rushed by Martha spam build and moved the rest of my army up 3/4 of the way tomards my opponent who didnt move. i then shot up his lights which prompted him to move his line forward so i retreated my lights behind my line - to force a line vs line battle and hold my lights in reserve. this is when he called me a noob camper and left. IDK but people seem to have some strange interpretation of what is good strategy.

ha ha ha i remember that game. the guy also told u to suck ur mums cock. the guy obviously wasnt that bright as i thought only men had them lol.
