I chose a smaller case because my bureau only has like 510 mm of height to put my computer in, so the darkfleet one fits perfectly.

Did I choose the good parts? Please tell me if I can replace anything with something better.

I can't comment on Euro prices value for the components you picked but ever item is a great choice. The only thing is the P67 motherboard you got there is almost certainly one with the bad southbridge so unless you want to risk data corruption down the road you'll want to either send it in for replacement right away or postpone your purchase.

Agreed, other than looking at another motherboard, looks like a nice system to me

Motherboard and CPU or wait. The P67 boards with the new southbridge have not yet shipped and and all major retailers here in the US pulled the old ones cause who would want to sell you a motherboard that you need to immediately send into the manufacturer?

I'm postponing my upgrade to Sandy Bridge until the new boards arrive, I would suggest you do the same.

...or buy an old X58 platform with a Gen1 i7...

If you can find a HAF 912, its 480mm tall and highly reccomended by anyone Ive talked to. It is a budget case so you might be able to find a better one if you pay more. Many sources say its the best in its price range (talking to people, reviews etc).

What's your power supply? And 8gb is overkilling it. 2gb memory modules have better timings and come cheaper. 6GB is all you need unless you run applications that are highly dependent on RAM.

Hmm, would it be better than the Darkfleet 35?

Really? Memory is quite cheap atm, I could also get some 8gb ripjaws if I save on my case by getting the HAF 912 plus.

Ofc anyone else is free to answer my questions.(hint)

I'd also stick to MSI boards, I find that their software is easier to work with.

    Oh look... a noob

Any board from Asus, EVGA, Gigabye, or MSI is fine. I'm not even sure what you are referring to by "motherboard software", There are drivers which you do nothing but install, there is the BIOS (or UEFI on newer boards) which is not software, and that's it.

    Some boards have OC software.

You mean to say that he says he's 30" tall or what? My PC case is practically 30" inches tall.

I was talking about OC Genie, explaining overclocking to customers can get annoying at time. Plus, it's my personal preference. Where did you ever hear me say that the other motherboard manufacturer's weren't fine?

Looks good other than the points above...

I would also ditch the 1tb and get 2 500gb and do raid... For a nice almost free performance increase...

Oh right, I got lazy with finding a list and your list isn't half bad already, so damn the expense and availability, here's what I suggest.

    1. 650w power supply. Preferably the NZXT Hale90 650w or Seasonic X-650. You won't need 750w. Really, you could get by with a good 500w, maybe even a 450w if you like to push it but 650w leaves enough headroom for both Crossfire and overclocking.

    2. Get the P8P67 Pro motherboard instead if possible. I believe it's almost exactly the same as the you've got listed but it runs Crossfire at 8x/8x instead of the x16/x4 I believe the P8P67 runs. Not really a big deal, and if the price difference is noticeable, don't bother. It's just a consideration.

    3. 912 Plus > Dark Fleet 35. IMO, it's better period.

    4. 4 GB of RAM is all you need. 8 GB is overkill and not justifiable unless cheap.

    Everything else seems A-Okay.

The first power supply isnt available here :/, the Seasonic 660-X seems awfully overpriced for what I'm getting (166 euros).

You meant the M-Pro motherboard? Ok, it's only 10 euros more.

912 plus it is than! Cheaper than de DF anyway.

Is this ram any good?: http://www.alternate.nl/html/product...3&l3=DDR3-1600
