Default Buying a PC for M2TW

    Dear M2TW Addicts,

I am trying to select a suitable PC configuration to be able to play a heavily/moderately modded RTW/M2TW.
I don't know if M2TW is RAM/CPU/VGA intensive, I try to select an equally balanced config.

I thought of a hardware like this:

    -Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H as motherboard
    -AMD Athlon II X2 250 3GHz as a dual-core CPU
    -Kingmax 2GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
-VTX3D ATI Radeon HD 5670 512MB GDDR5 as VGA Card
-running on an LCD with 1280x1024 native resolution

If you have any suggestions, plz make it so that I could amend my desired PC config.
    Thanx!

    What Windows version?

It will play good the way it is. The game is cpu intensive but only uses one core.

    Thanx.
Win xp version I guess, or I may upgrade it also to 7.

    Empire would also run fine?

Empire and Napoleon actually run better on Win 7 64bit. If you do get 2gb more ram. They will need them.

1280x1024! That's your max resolution if so then you are fine though you can't play on extreme\high settings and heavy mods will give you trouble. You might wanna upgrade to 4GB of RAM more is better and install a 64 bit OS to utilize it XP or 7 your pick.

Better buy a HD5770 or a cheaper one called HD 5750, trust me you need it.
Go with HD 5770(A friend of mine is happy with it plays SS all the time) if you decide this one then you may wanna go with GTX460 instead if the prices are same then buy GTX460 it's superior to 5770.
