    Actually, even though I have not played the demo yet, the enthusiasm displayed here gives me reason to hope. This brings me back to the good old Rome demo modding days... boy, back then, everything seemed possible, like, getting the entire game out of the demo

    Did someone made a mod when the Demo just arrived?

    Does S2TW seems as moddable as ETW? as NTW? Less?

    Less. MUCH less.

    The only tools we have of yet that work are NTW PFM and ETW PFM.

    We can't edit Shogun 2 format DBs, ESFs, .rigid_models, or .weighted_meshes. We can only pack and unpack .pack files.


    Though if you're interested, 'The Hedge Knight came out with a basic blood mod 1 hour after release.

    Installed the file no problems whatsoever.

    Ended up taking the last province needed for victory with a full stack headed by my daimyo 8 Ashigaru with mixed spear and bow, 2 Samurai archers, 2 mounted samurai archers, and a nice solid core of Naginata Warrior Monks.

    ... now if only we could play with these armies. XD

    Also, people worried about seaborn invasions? Miyoshi did it at least 3 separate times to me.

    Yeah I noticed this. It also seems there is a predetermined area where we can go, I mean that there are restrictions as to how far on the map we are able to go(for instance, I have not been able to go to the west of the Kikkaku on land.

    I decided to explore the tech trees and see how far I could go before I got bored with my play area. Around 1583 is when I finally ended the game I think.

    This is exactly what I needed. The first time I tried this I couldn;t do anything because after you move your ship I was like, well, I'll go explore the rest of the coast so I do that. Then the point where you have to merge your ships it was in a different spot so it didn't let me move it. And naturally, I didn't want to have to go through the pointlessness of a tutorial all over again so... YAY!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

    Nice mod. Unfortunately for me, I waited around developing the starting province for too long that Miyoshi wiped out all but one other clan so I had to seize Shikoku by auto-resolving all battles. Still, it was cool to see how the unrestrained AI worked.

    Each of the 4 maps has an extremely extensive battlescript, this not only contains all of the AIs moves (yes every battle you played was hugely scripted) but it also contains all of the advice stuff. So I'll need to remake the scripting for the 4 battles, and this will mean removing the AI scripting.

    We'll see what they are actualy made of yes.
    You need to open up submissions on various types of scripted battle. I for one think sieging a bunch of Ikko Ikki in a castle would be quite amusing ^_^.

    It would be fun to create some battlemaps based on famous battles/movies/lulz.

    Also, Mitch. Because of this mod, I had the greatest laugh of all today. I wish I had a picture of it:

    My Ninja ranked up, and one of the ancillars he could choose from? A 'Ludicrous Costume' with the subtext 'No, they definitly won't believe you're hiding as a giant squid' or something to that effect.

    Best Ancillary ever. With a +10% to your chance to get away if your assassin flubs the mission to boot.
