I. The motion concerning a raid on Tingi shall be canceled.

II. Consul Septimus is to be recalled to Rome to face charges of Illegal Warfare.

III. Consul Scaeva is to be removed from office and if possible be replaced with a suffectus.

This motion is far too condensed and involves too many separate topics for it to be voted on as one.

The raid on Tingi and the removal of Scaeva as Consul have nothing to do with each other. Moreover, Septimus is now dead and thus the second point of the motion is void.

I request the motion be split into two separate ones so Senators can distinguish the preservation of a people from the removal of a Consul. A Senators morality over needless slaughter may damage Scaevas political position, as such it is ludicrous for these two points to be included in one motion. According to this, which I hope you all shall view as sound reasoning, I employ my VETO in the hopes that the motion shall be divided and presented to the Senate once more.
