Human Generals

The human generals and captains wear a golden "S" on their chest in honor of their new messiah, Mike Slate.

The helmet and "S" are parts of royalty free models from www.turbosquid.com.
Credit for the hoplite models goes to the Thera team.

Man, while I love the idea, the general's s looks a bit tacky, and his helm is extremely disproportional. Good job on the rest though.

I changed the human general model a little. I reduced the size of both the helmet and the "S". Thanks for the input Agamemnon.

Human Desert Units

When the entire human race was conquered and taken prisoner, many of our historical differences were left behind on the earth. We were all stuck in the same situation on the alien slave ship. The heroic actions of one man, Mike Slate, allowed the survival of the human species on the new planet. Christians and Muslims, both awaiting the arrival of a new messiah, accepted him as their savior. A new religion developed, The Church of Mike Slate. Those who refused to accept him and follow the teachings of the Third Testament eventually rebelled against the empire and fled into the forests.
While most of the empire developed in the footsteps of the old European ways, new strategies were needed in the desert. If the empire were to expand to the south, Middle Eastern ways would be needed. Heavy plate armor was too hot on the southern continent. Lighter clothing allowed for much greater comfort in the scorching heat. Razor sharp curved blades proved much more effective against the lightly armored foes of the desert and tropical climate.

These units will only be recruitable in the desert regions of the southern continent.
They all have a combat bonus in the desert.
