Kinda new - need help.

Hello everyone! I used to play this mod back when it was 1.5, 2.0 was such a huge deal back then.

I have recently started a Macedon campaign, and there have been so many changes since i last played this mod from 1.5.

Just as i started , in the 2nd turn, i was forced to fight a battle of huge armies from the start, knowing so little about what units i had or what numbers they had, attack, defence, missile or not, etc...

I panicked and i took all units from Pella and another city, and battled a huge stack of greek forces.

Lagging in-game even though i have a good pc, i alt+f4'd to change my settings.


And i think that this is going to be a very hard campaign, being sieged straight from the start and forced to fight stack vs stack with no idea of what my units stats were on the very 2nd turn from the start.


So, i need general tips and guidance so that i can survive. Because this is much harder.

Why do units have a 0 turn recruitment?

I remember that it was 1 when i was playing.

Because no beta testers wanted to play 1 turn therefore there is only a 1 turn roman campaign.
