    this means CA is pretty happy with the game to be releasing a demo that is this extensive (campaign based)... and no, not all games got a demo before - NTW got one afterwards.

    nonetheless... i hope the setting will be able to be cranked up and not shaded out (i would like to do some benchmarking - actually a benchmark would be nice in the options section too).

    Excellent, I really want to see the campaign map in action. If the demo allows you to fight a battle on your own terms with differant troops on a tile of your choosing then great, but if it's otherwise I doubt we'd be able to glean much in terms of the BAI.

    That scripted battle lol. Well at least we have a week to see if the game worth. I need to see if my computer can handle with the game and he the pfm can open some files. I really need to change the units speed. And made a 300 men units.

    Shame that the demo couldn't be released sooner, but appreciate the effort of doing this. It shows CA is actually listening since so many have requested a Campaign Demo in the past. If the demo had come out sooner though that would at least have lead me to think that you're not ashamed of the game in its present state- cutting it so close to the release date gives us little time to reconsider our preorders. But ah well, at least we're getting one which is the important bit. So thankyou CA for at least giving us this much thus far- its a positive gesture that restores a bit more faith in the companies ability to take feedback.

    Same here, I want to find out if it's easier to see whether the terrain is hilly or flat - that will open up a whole load of tactical possibilities.

    Thank God, let's just hope its a decent demo. Its probably going to be all scripted AI but that's expected I suppose...but at least I'll get to see how well it runs on my PC.
