    Default Problems

    I've encountered a few problems. PLEASE HELP!

    1. When I click to play the campaign it says something along the lines of "Select item from list."

    2. When I set up a custom battle and pick units and all that and click the last arrow it sends me back to the page in custom battle when you pick your factions and change denarii and choose the defender.

    Please help me fix this, I have heard so much good about this game and really want to play.

    BTW: I have dl'd v1.1 and patched it to 1.2.

    I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

    1)Patch Rome to 1.5

    It appears to work but I have another problem.

    When I click the shortcut to begin the game it stays on the first screen for a long time, about 10 minutes. Then I press ctrl+alt+delete to see what's going on it says that it's unresponsive. Then I go back into RTW and now it's on a loading screen and works fine past that.

    Any way to fix this?

    EB takes a while to start up, but It's never frozen on the opening screen for me.

    Also, how do you start the EB script with the Advisor?

    click on a town and the advisor will pop up. Click on the advisor's image and the "show me how" button will highlight. Click on the "show me how" button to start the scripts.

    It's a good habit to have to click on a town again after the advisor goes away. Sometimes, the script start doesn't "catch" the first time around. If it didn't, the advisor will pop up again when a town is clicked the second time. Just repeat the process. I've never had it take more than twice, but twice seems to be pretty often needful.
