Cannot play any mods on Rome

Lets start all the way from the beginning, shalt we?

I downloaded a mod called SPQR 2 days ago, what I didn't know that it didn't make it's own folder. So SPQR, Which in my opinion sucked. Became my new RTW. I uninstalled Rome and tried to reinstall it, It was a pain because It always stopped in disk 3 asking for something like putting in the actual disk or something like that.
However, randomly it finally fully installed. But then it started saying "Rome: Total War has encountered a unspecified error and will now exit"



However, Again, Randomly. RTW Vanilla and RTW:BI both started to work. But every time I try to play Europa Barbarorum, Rise of Persia or Extended Cultures, It just goes to Vanilla RTW. Anyone wanna tell me whats going on? Also, during campaign on Vanilla, the Faction Icons from SPQR pop up instead of the normal ones.

P.S, Anyone know how Vanilla got started? Is Vanilla supposed to be plain or something?


*EDIT* I have uninstalled Vanilla, BI, EB, ROP and XC and deleted everything (Except with the Miles folder for Vanilla because it is disk written or something) And reinstalled Vanilla. Now, I cant even play Vanilla AGAIN!!! I swear im not installing any more mods except the ones listed above, ITW and RTW EVER!!!
