Those here are tracks for the campaign map

    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?t4ljrjjrxer1b35

    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3mq9dsd6i5wm0jl

They are not necessarily carved in stone as faction specific but they are just nice and fit in with the medieval times.

Love the traditional tracks. The last ones you posted seem a bit too tribal. What are they from? I know I've heard them before...hmmm age of empires, civilisation?

Indeed, some sound quite familiar. At least one of the general purpose battle tracks is from Civ5 and several from Heroes5 (or 4?), though I can't remember where the others are from (and some I haven't heard before).
Btw, one track reminded me of this spectacle (actually, I think it's called "Opheus and Eurydice" (or was it "The Bulgarian legend"), "Dream Dancers" is probably the ballet's name). I know its composer (he's also a director of the "Filip Kutev" national (folk) ensemble), though I doubt we'd get permission, considering the spectacle is probably still active. Anyway, some of the tracks might fit quite well, including 1-2 more "battle-like" ones (like the one here, though they sound rather tribal as well).

Well the last civ i played was 3 and the last heroes i played was 3 aswell. Everything that came after heroes 3 was crap anyway

    yay responses !

    thanks

    ill respond to all in here - it is all true, well to some extent;

I used a bunch of resources and combinations.Civ4 and 5 , Heroes 2-3-4-5. Some were from vanila others from various mods. Some i adjusted some didn't.
I also used some movie soundtracks, for example Kingdom of Heaven, from which i took the 'New world' theme and 'Saladin' theme. The' new world' theme i adjusted and fits great for Konstantinoupolis
'Saladin' theme works great for a muslim faction while on campaign map.

yes i guess you could say they kinda sound tribal, but hey if they fit with a battle scene in medieval time then they would fit their purpose right?
I just wanted to give those guys a fair sized pool of tracks to pick from.
I really hope they will use at least ONE traditional (slow paced) folklore inspired track for each faction, i think it would contribute much to the feel of the mod.

So like i said, at this point when you have quite a few to choose from, let me know for which faction there is more needed as far as musical coverage goes or anything else alright?

Yup, i too like the second one , the one more fitted to the battle map.
i still don't know what to say about the 'tribal' aspect , i mean there are drums and the choir behind it but it sonds pretty good.

Personally, no offense, but I don't like them, although they're pretty good by themselves. But one sounded way too Celtic and the other, although not so Celtic, still didn't feel Balkan. Considering the mod covers a very specific region, I think its main music should best represent the atmosphere of that region and not just sound good.
