    Icon5 (startpos.esf question)

Is there a way to edit the settlements so each one starts with a basic or advanced fort? The AI refuses to build these, even very late in the game, and I would like a mix of siege and land battles rather than all land. Also, but less important, can I make the wood cutting camps at a basic level? The AI refuses to build these also. (this is for Napoleon if it makes any difference) So im looking in CAMPAIGN_ENV\CAMPAIGN_MODEL\WORLD\REGION_MANAGER\REGIONS_ARRAY and i have all the settlements listed but I dont know what value to cange to add the forts.. Help would be great, thanks.

When you open an region entry there is a region_slot_manager in in there the fortification slot.

The best would be you copy the building_manager entry from an region which have an settlement fortification and replace with them the existing one.

Why would anyone want to do such a thing ;-)
I have esf script which removes all forts, none to add forts yet.
