CTD When Selecting Faction?

Installed 6.3 to steamapps/common/medieval ii total war/mods
Installed patch 2.5 to same location

Steam users have had problems starting the mod, but there's a simple way to make the mod work with Steam:
Install the mod as instructed.
Open Steam/Steamapps/Common/Medieval II Total War/mods. There you will find all your installed Kingdoms campaigns as well as the Stainless Steel modfolder.
Edit the name of one of the Kingdoms folders (americas, brittannia, crusades, teutonic), preferably your least favorite campaign. The new name doesn't have to be anything specific.
Change the name of the Stainless Steel folder to the former name of the Kingdoms folder you just edited. For example, if you edited the americas folder, the Stainless Steel folder should be named americas.
Select the appropriate campaign from the steam menu. If you renamed the Third_Age folder to americas, select the americas campaign. If you named it crusades, select the crusades campaign, and so on.
Steam will now launch the mod.

Yet it still CTDs? I've installed this mod before 6.4 came out and it worked, but 6.4 just doesn't work for me so want to go back to 6.3. Keep encountering this issue though.

edit: I got it working! But does anybody know where to find the sub-mod collection? I think the link has been taken down
