    Default Government Types

This thread has been split from the 'English Empire' thread and has moved onto different types of governance. Carry on! - imb39

Ah... I would like to point out that the difference between Labour and Tory is minimal so it really doesn't much matter. Heh, what a fuss over nothing.

So, what hasn't been tried? I know, a govenrment where only the most attractive people govern.

I don't think meritocracy has ever actually been tried has it?

Unworkable, I'm afraid unless we ban money. For a meritocracy to work all humans will have to be impartial, which I think is impossible.

We will see; I'm somewhat more optimistic on the matter of human nature than you are, it seems.

Meritocracy will be skewed with the presence of money. It wouldn't work. There's probably a reason why it's never been tried...

Ooops, I've just realised, I posted the same argument as KHV. Sorry!

Oh stop being such any optimist. Everything's going to fail. We're doomed.
