makes battles easier, basically what it does is make it so you can just overwhelm enemies with superior numbers, instead of using actual strategy. i personally do not use it because it would make it much harder to win a battle where u were significantly outnumbered.

It disables morale and fatige.
Morale is calculated using a greatly simplified algorithm as far as I can tell; units can still panic and flee, but not as easily as they do in normal mode. Things like being hit from behind by a cavalry charge no longer do the trick, and it seems that they don't flee until they take a certain number of casualties.
Also, as noted above, it seems to ignore fatigue issues in arcade mode. Whenever you tell any unit to go anywhere, it always runs.
And finally, and perhaps most importantly, it grants infinite ammo to all missile troops. This allows the somewhat cheap tactic of destroying enemy armies through archer fire alone, provided you have a sufficiently strong front-line to dissuade the enemy from charging.
