    Icon11 Human redemption

    Hey lads

After playing as Rhun and Harad for a while, I think an awesome Idea would be a redemption event. This would happen after a certain event for the player (eg Minas tirith, lothlorien or Thranduils halls are taken by mordor or other evil factions. This event would change the evil humans into neutral or good humans by a change in culture and removing past alliances. After playing Rhun and doing this manually, it is not realistic that followers of melkor will be very good allies with dale and gondor for example, whilst annihilating mordor. '

tl:dr Event that makes evil humans good humans by culture change and a redemption stat change for family members and slightly different units.

This really would intrigue a lot of people and add a new element of gameplay, and by adding it as an option I do not see how this could be a bad thing.

Yes very similar to Lithuanian change, or arnorian change.

@Xwhyzed it would be only possible when playing as evil, it can be balanced by a bonus to evil factions if necessary.

I think this would make the game too easy when you play with a "good" faction.

the game is already too easy as a good faction its more tedious than difficult having to fight stack after stack

so youre implying that harad and rhun are actually closeted good people? they were never "evil", mind you. the only thing they want is to go capture gondor because they have to live in the friggin desert where life is hard and food and water are scarce. after the war of the ring was over, before it began, sauron promised them many divine gifts in return for their aid. also, be mindful that sauron is not truly evil, he is simply a fallen maiar who was corrupted into thinking that absolute order was the thing all creatures should aspire to. he wasnt really looking to kill all humans or anything. he just saw it as a continuation of his master morgoth's will.

Well, I don't think that's true. It's said in Silmarilion that Sauron was less sinful than Morgot only because he served other and not himself for long time. Only Morgot wasn't evil in the beging but when he stood against Eru, everyone he comanded became evil, if I can say that so simple. Sauron was quite evil from the begining.

They are human and thus it is possible for them to be good as well as bad.

    Human nature as it were.
