1.4.4 CTD playing Vampire Counts

Hi, long time fan of the mod and I love this mod to bits.

Unfortunately the mod is crashing almost every turn when I end my turn or try to save.

• Name of your issue. Unspecified Error when I end my turn
• Is CTD repeatable? Its a 50/50 whenever I try to save or end my turn
  
• CTDs during strategy map
  
• What is you operating system? Vista 64bit
  
• What language version of the game do you have? 1.4.4 with English patch 1.4.4
• What year are you playing when CTD occurred? Turn 2 onwards
  
• What faction do you play? Vampire Counts
• What faction is creating the CTD? Unknown
  
• Briefly describe the issue and add comments: Unspecified Error and a freeze when I try to make a save or end my turn. I thought it could be the autosave but it was the same even when I turned it off.

Any help would be appreciated thank you!

UAC off Virtual Store file deleted?
Sorry but I dont download saved games. My Vanilla is back up file. Mine is currently heavliy modded!

I guess it is worth a try to turn off UAC, but I am not too sure how to do that (guess I'll search for it).

What is the Virtual Store file? Please excuse me for being nubbish.

Go to the Torrent Thread above its stickied. Open the spoiler at bottom of first post covers steam and UAC, Virtual Store.

O yea forgot to add that it is not a Steam version. Additionally whenever I launch the game some error pops out saying WINSPOOL.drv is not found, but the game runs anyways, dunno if that is related.

WINSPOOL.drv sounds like a printer queuing. No steam but the Virtual Store can be a major issue for many!

Hey, I have a similar problem, but what do you have to do special with the Steam version?

Just an update. I tried the UAC and virtual store thing and at first it did seem to help but by turn 6 it popped up again. Its whenever I end my turns or try to save this happens and I'm not too sure if its Vampire Counts specific though.

Hi, I deleted what was instructed on that link, but the same thing is still happening. At the moment its not game breaking but it is frustrating when a turn takes so much longer to end due to having to open the game again and CTDs after an important battle are annoying too.

I had some issues with the VC too and posted them in the bug session however a few days after i posted them a new patch lvl came out so they where not looked anymore after so i guess these bugs are still there.
