Unspecified Error much worse

Hey guys loving this mod very much however persistent bugs and crashes is really taking its toll on me therefore I come to post on the forums to seek much needed expert help.

I played 1.4.2 mod and to me it was more stable than the new 1.4.4 mod as I am getting the same error now ever 2-3 turns.

I'll list the problem down...

• Name of your issue "Unspecified Error" usually during end turn around AI auto turn phase.
  
• Is CTD repeatable? Yes, however sometimes it fixes itself but it is a re occurring problem
  
• Did CTD occur during the Strategy map
  
• What is you operating system Windows Vista
  
• What language version of the game do you have? 1.4.4 with English 1.4.4 patch
• What year are you playing when CTD occurred? Turn 4 going to turn 5.
  
• What faction do you play? Ostermark
• What faction is creating the CTD Rebels or maybe Dwarves during end turn phase I believe
  
• Briefly describe the issue and add comments: "Unspecified Error game will now exit" message during auto turn end phase.

Help would be much appreciated... otherwise I guess I'll have to go back to 1.4.2 T_T

UAC off Virtual Store file deleted?
Sorry but I don't download saved games. My Vanilla is back up file. Mine is currently heavily modded!

I have turned off User Control Settings.
Just weird that the 1.4.2 patch was more stable than this 1.4.4 patch for me...

It's not UAC. 1.4.4 is simply much more unstable. At turn 30 so far, and have about fivefold random CTDs than I did before and logs show nothing wrong. I am saving every turn because of instability, but fingers crossed, so far 1 after battle CTD and no gamebreaking CTD.

Agree with you there boatie... it is just very unstable and at turn 33 I've encountered a game breaking CTD which won't allow me to progress further...

This needs to be posted in the 1.4.4 bugs thread. COW teams needs to be made aware of gamebreaking CTDs so it can be fixed. However, it might can also be a installation-related CTD as well. They will be able to tell you.

Hi iam geting virtually the exact same problem you have described did you find a soultion r did u go back to earlier 1.4.2 version i tryed the obvious suggestions dont think it is naything i done iand i prety sure i installed correctly.
